    This will be a 3-4 week fundraiser with 20 performing campaigners who are the brand ambassadors of the #MuscialMay will be promoting the campaign on their social media handles every week.

    Your participation is more valuable to us than the quantum of your donation. All donations, big or small, help underprivileged patients towards a happier world.

  • +What Will The Emergency Fund Be Used For? Why Should I Donate Towards This Cause?

    As per the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) data, India had 14 lakh cancer patients in 2016 and this number is expected to increase. Despite good medical facilities, 4 out of 10 patients don't complete their treatment due to their financial and emotional burden.

    The Emergency Fund will be used as an interim fund in the initial weeks of treatment to support low income families in their most vulnerable times hence reducing the abandonment rates. Additional the fund raised will be used to run free medical camps in rural areas & donating over 200 voice boxes for those who have lost their voice.

    About 1,000 patients, who perhaps would not be able to complete their treatment, will benefit from this Emergency Fund.

    1By policy, the management does not keep any of the donations. 100% of your donations go towards the cause.

    Musical May is a campaign run by volunteers from Cancer Patients Aid Association. It is currently self-funded through well wishers. 100% of all public donations go towards the cause.

    No problem. Just write to us at thebenefactorsteve@gmail.com and let us know if you would like the full payment or part of the payment reversed. Depending on the payment gateway used for the transaction, the reversal is completed within 1 - 10 business days.

  • +I Tried Making A Donation. The Amount Got Debited From My Bank Account / Card But I Was Shown A Message That My Payment Didn't Go Through. What Should I Do?

    If the amount was debited from your account, don't worry. In most cases, your payment is held at the payment gateway and will be credited to us within 24 hours. When the payment is made on Musical May, you will receive an acknowledgement. In case you've not received an email acknowledgement within 24 hours, email us at thebenefactorsteve@gmail.com and we'll resolve it at the earliest.

    Yes! You can contribute via cheque too. Once you click the Donate button, just click the cheque payment option in step 3 and we will collect your cheque donation from your doorstep.

    We do not at this point accept cash as a mode of payment for administrative and governance reasons.

  • +Is The Contribution Tax Deductible?

    Yes. All INR donations received on or before May 31st, 2019 are tax deductible. Note that donations received post May 31st, 2019 will not be given tax certificates.
